Kyle Reed name Head Coach of 18U AAA Porttine Pipeline Rangers

Feb. 08, 2026

RDMBA is pleased to announce Kyle Reed as the Head Coach of the 2026 18U AAA Porttine Pipelines Rangers.

Kyle grew up playing baseball in Red Deer, competing in two Western Canadian Championships and two National Championships. At the age of 16, he was selected to Team Alberta and later earned positions on Alberta showcase teams that traveled throughout the western United States, competing against U.S. college programs.

Kyle began his coaching career in 2005 as an assistant coach with the 18U AA Braves, helping lead the team to a Tier 2 Provincial Championship. He advanced to the 18U AAA Braves in 2006 as an assistant coach and assumed the head coaching role in 2007.

In 2012, Kyle returned to coaching at the grassroots level with T-ball and has remained actively involved in both AA and AAA baseball ever since.

A competition-certified coach in baseball, softball, and volleyball, Kyle’s primary passion has always been baseball. He is excited and proud to lead the 18U AAA program for the upcoming season.

We wish Kyle and his Porttin Pipeline Rangers a wonderful season!
