2026 Coach Certification Requirements and Clinics
RDMBA encourages volunteers to coach our young athletes. Coaches can have a positive impact on our players and can develop long lasting friendships. If you have the desire to lead our kids with passion and encouragement in a positive manner you can contact the RDMBA office for more information.
RDMBA Coach Requirements

**Red Deer Minor Baseball Association requires Vulnerable Sector Checks for all coaches, Head Coach and Assistants, for both Rep and Rec **

NCCP Registration - A (Provincial), AA & AAA Coaches
All A (Provincial), AA, and AAA coaches must be registered in the NCCP system.
Steps to Register:

Go to NCCP Registration to create an account.

New coaches will pay $50.00 to enter the system and gain access to the Coach Initiation in Sport Module.

After completing the module, choose one of the following based on your coaching level:

Coach Initiation in Baseball (Rally Cap)

Coach Initiation in Baseball (Fundamentals)

Completing the Coach Initiation in Baseball (Fundamentals) Online Module allows you to register for in-person workshops.

Coaches who have already completed the Level 1 Technical course in the old NCCP system can check the appropriate box, and the fee will be waived.

Coach Course Reimbursement - RDMBA
RDMBA is committed to investing in our coaches. We will reimburse the cost of any required or optional NCCP courses.
How to Submit for Reimbursement:

Keep all receipts for courses you have completed.

Send a single email with your receipts, name, and mailing address to:
bookkeeper@reddeerminorbaseball.com
(This applies only to coaches actively coaching an RDMBA team in the current season.) -
Processing Schedule:
-
Reimbursement cheques are issued once a month at the end of April, May, and June.
