2024 9U Registration Information
9U Intro and Advanced
The 9U program is designed to promote baseball development using a modified game structure to teach baseball FUNdamentals to our players.
New as of 2023!

* RDMBA supports the initiative to advance female baseball. In efforts to do so, female athletes will have the option in the registration process to select whether they would prefer to play on an all female team, a co-ed team or don't have a specific preference. All female teams will be created in each division should the registration numbers permit doing so. Female registrants are also permitted to remain in each division for 1 additional year as an overage player should they wish to do so.
9U Intro
In the 9U intro program players will focus on basic skills, such as throwing, catching and hitting. 9U Intro is for the player that is new to the game of baseball and/or the player that wishes to learn the game at a slightly less advanced pace. The beginning of each intro session will include practice with their team, followed up by a game played in the second half.
9U Advanced
In the 9U Advanced program players will continue to learn the basic fundamentals of baseball, such as, throwing, catching, hitting and base running. Players will also be introduced to basic positional play including pitching as they practice and play games.
A non-refundable evaluation fee of $20 will be included in the 9U advanced registration. If your team elects to enter a tournament there will be additional costs associated with that as well. Should your player register and evaluate for the 9U advanced division and is not selected, they will automatically be reassigned to 9U intro.
