Following the resounding success since its inception in 2022, the Rawlings Cup is set to make its highly anticipated return in 2024. This showcase tournament will once again bring together some of the top talent at the 16U and 14U level from across Alberta, continuing to build on its established success.
The tournament's main focus is to offer associations a valuable platform for showcasing their most talented players. This will enable participants to gain exposure and attract the attention of Baseball Alberta scouts. The ultimate goal is to potentially secure opportunities for selected players to participate in the Western Canada Prospects Series against BC, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. The Prospects Series will take place the following weekend and will serve as the first step in identifying players for future Baseball Canada Cup championships and the Western Canada Prospect Series rosters, which will also have a 14U division this year.
