CarStar Braves win gold at BAEL provincials and advance to Nationals

Join RDMBA in congratulating our Head Coach Josh Zanolli and his 18U BAEL CarStar Braves on their Provincial Gold 🥇🏆 along with tourney MVP winner Jake Brooks!!!
Hosted by St. Albert Cardinals, our CarStar Braves began their Provincial weekend Thursday with a 3-2 win against Sherwood Park Dukes. Friday started with a 5-2 loss to Calgary Cubs, followed by a 6-3 win against Midwest Prairie Pirates. A 6-1 loss against Parkland Twins BAEL brought them to a tie breaker against the Twins Sunday morning with a 3-1 win. The Braves then went on to the semi final against Parkland 18U AAA at 12:00 Sunday, winning 6-3, and securing their position in the final against St. Albert Cardinals at 4:00pm. Braves came out strong in the first inning of their triple header and remained ahead of their opponents with a 17-5 Provincial Gold win in the 5th inning!
Our CarStar Braves will now represent the province at Nationals in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador August 15th - 18th.
