RDMBA will be hosting an umpire clinic prior to the 2010 season. Details are as follows:
Level I: $65.00
Level II: $75.00

RDMBA will be hosting a clinic for the 2009 season. Details are as follows:
- Level I & Level II
- April 4 & 5
- Location and times to be determined
- If interested in attending, please forward names to tletkeman@chinooksedge.ab.ca so we can give Baseball Alberta an estimate of participants (so they can provide enough materials).
Individual baseball associations in Alberta arrange a combined Level 1 and Level 2 Umpire clinic through Baseball Alberta. RDMBA has this clinic annually.
Level 3 clinics are usually held in major centers such as Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer and Grande Prairie and are arranged by Baseball Alberta.
Each year there is one Provincial Level 4 clinic held in either Edmonton or Calgary.
Each clinic is a 2-day weekend clinic with a written exam at the end of the 2nd day. Clinic content varies slightly per instructor but always covers rules, positioning and incorporates a practical component.
2008 Clinic Fee Schedule (subject to change):
$65.00 for Level 1
$75.00 for Level 2
$95.00 for Level 3
RDMBA Umpires receive 100% of the fee refunded, conditional to working a reasonable number of games and they have no missed assignments.
