Great Chief Park is a premier Baseball Facility run by the City of Red Deer. Great Chief Park has two ballparks, one of which is home to the Red Deer Riggers, the Red Deer Stags and the Midget AAA Carstar Braves. The other ballpark is home to the Bantam AAA Servus Credit Union Braves. Occasionally, depending on scheduling, the Bantam AA and Midget AA Braves may play at this field. Washrooms and concessions are nearby and it is directly adjacent to the Kiwanis Picnic Park and playground and a combination soccer/football field. There is also a nine-hole pitch and putt golf course and horseshoe pits nearby. Within walking distance are the Bower Ponds and the Red Deer Golf and Country Club. Great Chief Park is open from May to October. To reach Great Chief Park by car, travel north or south on Taylor Drive, turn west on Kerry Wood Drive, go south on Fountain Drive and follow the signs.
