RDMBA - About Us

Red Deer Minor Baseball Association has been in operation since 1980.  The non-profit association is made up of a 5 member Executive Board and a supporting group of dedicated volunteers. RDMBA works under the guidelines and regulations of Baseball Alberta and Baseball Canada.  Recently, the RDMBA was awarded the 2006 Baseball Alberta "Association of the Year" for the excellent work it has achieved.

The Red Deer Minor Baseball Association offers baseball programs for players from 6 to 18 years of age.  The programs vary in skill levels from house league in the younger ages to Performance and Competitive in the Mosquito, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget divisions.  We currently have over 330 players in the system and we are growing.

RDMBA has hosted both Provincial and National level tournaments.  An indoor winter camp for over 100 players has also taken place yearly.  Players from Red Deer have been drafted by professional teams, awarded college scholarships and played various levels of baseball after graduating from Red Deer Minor Baseball.
