The Red Deer Minor Baseball Association is pleased to offer registration grant opportunities for boys and girls ages six to fifteen. The grants are being offered to those interested in playing baseball in organized leagues who are unable to afford the cost of registration. Players interested in applying for a grant for the upcoming season are requested to submit a letter to the Red Deer Minor Baseball Board of Directors, detailing their interest in obtaining a grant to play baseball. Letters need to be submitted to the association by the registration deadline of March 13, 2010. The grant will cover the recipient’s registration and team fees (excludes travel) for participation in the Pre-Rookie, Rookie, Mosquito, Pee Wee or Bantam Rec Division.
The Board of Directors will review all applications and will make a decision on how many scholarships will be offered for the upcoming season. Red Deer Minor Baseball will contact the successful applicants by March 19, 2010.
