| The player's age as of December 31 is used to determine their age category.

| When is registration?
|
Registration needs to be complete by March 14, 2009.
Registration Options:
1. In person at the Collicutt Centre at 3031-30 Avenue or the Recreation Centre at 4501-47A Avenue.
2. By phone by calling the City of Red Deer 24 hour Program Registration Line at 403-309-8555. You will need your client number, PIN number, credit card number and the course code (found on the registration information sheet).
3. Online at http://www.reddeer.ca/looknbook and click on looknbook to launch the process. You will need your client number, PIN number, credit card number and the course code.

| What does it cost to play baseball?
|
All costs associated with playing in the Rec Program are covered by RDMBA Registration Fees. In the Rep Program, additional fundraising is required to cover league fees, tournaments, travel and other expenses. Please see the Registration information sheet for the exact cost of each age group and level.

| What if my child wants to play at a higher, more competitive level?
|
RDMBA offers Competitive and Performance Rep teams. Players must attend tryouts and must be selected to play on a Competitive or Performance team. Please refer to the registration form for levels stating "tryouts".

| Can my child play on the same team as their friend?
|
| In the Rec division all ball players will be evaluated, attempting to make teams as even as possible. Evaluators will try to respond to requests for players to be with friends, but there is no guarantee that this will be possible. At the Competitive/Performance levels, teams are determined by evaluation and skill sets.

| When does the league play begin?
|

The Rec Program begins in early May and end before June 30th. The Rep Program season is longer - teams are selected in early April and will play through July and possibly into August.

| How will I be contacted for start dates for the season or tryouts?
|
| Tryouts should start in early April for Bantam and Midget AAA/AA teams and the following week for Pee Wee and Mosquito AAA/AA teams. Evaluations for Rookie, Mosquito, Pee Wee and Bantam Rec teams will take place shortly after the AAA/AA tryouts. All players will be placed on a team. Your coach will contact you after the evaluations and teams are drafted.
