2022 Annual General Meeting changed to Zoom

2022 RDMBA AGM

UPDATE as of January 9th

Good afternoon RDMBA membership,

We hope this finds you all well and looking forward to a milder week coming our way. 

Due to the increasing variant numbers and many reporting they are unable to attend our AGM in person, we have made the unfortunate decision to move our in-person AGM for tomorrow evening to Zoom.  As much as we were looking forward to welcoming our membership back in person, we feel this is the most responsible decision given the current situation. 

The zoom link for tomorrow evenings meeting can be found below, along with links for the agenda and available board positions and descriptions of roles. 

We ask that everyone please be patient as there are extra steps to be taken when facilitating a voting meeting online, however we will do our best to keep things running smoothly.  We will have the meeting open at 6:15pm as to allow us a little more time to record attendees prior to our starting time of 6:30pm.

Red Deer Minor Baseball Association (RDMBA) is a volunteer driven, non-profit association with a dedicated Board of Directors.  Having endured a challenging couple years, we are committed to growing our 2022 membership numbers to closer resemble a pre-covid season, and with that goal in mind, there is an increased demand for volunteers.  As position terms expire, and board members move on, there is a continual opportunity for volunteers to join our Board of Directors and/or sub committees, and this year is no different.  We strongly encourage parents/guardians to become involved, attend our AGM, consider becoming a Board member and/or one of our supporting sub committee volunteers.  

Having dedicated volunteers allows our association to provide a growing number of players with a strong, capable and committed organization, within which they can enjoy learning, developing their skills and playing the great game of baseball.
